LEE Perfect Powder Measure, Anyone Use One?

Greetings,
I need to attach the Lee Perfect powder measure to the 4 hole turret press.
I,m guessing I need the Universal Charging die... But, Can't really find information that tells me this is what will connect the 2 and work for rifle and pistol reloading.
I don't want to guess and I'm sure there are some of you who are using the Lee perfect powder measure.
Thanks!

You can go 2 ways.
1. Buy your dies in a set and it comes with the powder through die in the set.
2. You can get the universal powder through die but you will need the inserts for each caliber.
I also don't use the charging disk.
Got to Titan reloading. They carry lee products and have great videos that explain things better than I ever could. Their prices are the best I have found.

Howdy,

I use the Lee unit as well but mine is mounted to a bench since I load with a single stage press.

I would not load without one. You will need to keep the powder level at roughly the same level for to throw the same charge every time. I fill mine to the top and add powder after it drops down to about the 3/4 mark.

gunnerbob, First, How are you feeling? Still on the mend?
Next, The gentleman at Titan Reloading told me I should not use the Lee Perfect Powder Measure with the Turret Press.
He suggested the Lee Pro Auto-Disk Loader. Now I'm confused.
I see a lot of videos with the turret press and the Perfect Powder Measure on YouTube but now I have a professional telling me that is not the way to go.¿

Someone is confused. Since the Lee Perfect is a manually operated measure, it CAN be used on a turret press but not a progressive. I use one on a 4 hole turret press that I have set up to run .223 prepped cases. Position 1 is the powder measure, 2 is a necksizer/powder check die, 3 is bullet seater, and 4 is a Lee factory crimp die. If using the Perfect on a turret, leave the handle in the "dump" position until ready to charge a case. Otherwise, the vibration of the rotation will cause inconsistent powder charges.
I don't remember what I have under the measure but it's some variation of the powder through die with a swivel.

I'm doing better, Kramer. Thanks for asking! I'm taking it day-by-day... Anyway, like the post below yours says, you can use the Lee powder measure with a turret but not a progressive. I have to ask... was this gentlemen just trying to sell you a more expensive reloading apparatus?

Much in life can be accomplished one day at a time/Day by day. Glad to hear your taking it as it comes.

Thought about profiteering but when he sent me the link his own powder measure was out of stock... Who knows!
