What's a good way to avoid leather creak on a holster?
I've got a Crossbred supertuck and you can't see it for nothing - but it creaks when I squat or twist too far. Was just wondering what other folks have done to keep theirs from creaking.

You might try some leather conditioner, saddle soap or maybe baseball glove conditioner. I used the latter on my concealment holster and it worked fine. I figure if the glove conditioner kept a baseball glove of mine in excellent shape after 20 + years of use, it will work on a gun holster just great.

I used liberal doses of Kiwi Leather Lotion on my horsehide supertuck - did the job!

Refreshed it after about a year of use, and it's been a year since that. Nice a quiet.

I guess I should have completed my thought in the original post: Saddle soap, leather conditioner baseball glove conditioner- none of that's going to affect the finish on the gun is it?
I was also wondering about having big stains on my shirt, but I guess if you keep it just where the metal touches, that won't be a problem.

Don't use the saddle soap or whatever on the kydex part and you'll be fine. But there is no leather conditioner that has an effect on metal.

Just want to say, from the way the thread title is spelled, I was expecting a review or question about a particular holster maker. That's a good name - Leather Creek.

Turns out there is such a brand, and he makes some nice looking holsters. Pricing seems reasonable.
