Their "humorous" takeoff on TravelAdvisor.com, a supposed one-stop site to let bad guys know which states are the best for them.

Michigan, BTW, was given a four bullet hole rating for the supposed ease with which criminals can get their hands on - and carry - firearms.

Of course, their "promotional video" gives props to Cali, NY, CT, and MD for their anti-gun laws, while ignoring the fact that they have some of the highest violent crime rates in the nation.

I reported the video to youtube for depictions of dangerous acts at 1:02. You have to click on the three dots next to the add to and share icons to get the option to report the video.

I'm not sure what to make of that. Did FOD make the video to make fun of the Brady website - yes, it's real - and the Bradys adopted it?

Or did the Bradys have FOD make the video for them?

Either way, on the site they're lying, as usual.

From the SD page (and also similar text on others)
Easily buy guns without a background check at gun shows or online. Ideal if you have a history of domestic abuse and still want a gun.
Sorry, I've bought two guns online and had to go through background checks at the FFL, just like the law says. Only been to one gun show, and I saw the dealers there doing the checks.
Yes, personal sales here require no checks, so what?

It's an anti-gun propaganda video. And just like all anti-gun propaganda, about 99‰ of the "easy ways" to obtain firearms they talk about are illegal actions already.

Shoot, I marked as starting at 10 seconds in. Dangerous acts. Shooting in the air and finger inside the trigger guard at all times.

The video was a joint venture between Brady and FOD.

Joint venture? Lots of Brady and FOD idiots must have been smoking too many joints in that production. I've not seen a production that rife with stupidity.

IMHO that is how their low info morons, that will see this crap, think we gun owners act and handle guns. When in truth it's the idiot gang bangers who are the ones who handle guns in this manner!

According to the U.S. Census New York only rates at number 22 in violent crime. We don't have even close to the highest violent crime rate in America.
.
Crime rates for all violent crime is way down in NY since 2000 --> New York Crime Rates 1960 - 2013
