Knowing NY (lived there for 18 years) as I do, they probably were. NYS politics are utterly dominated by NYC, Albany, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo. The rest of the state has basically no say in what's done.

Magazine restrictions, rifles with those "evil" barrel shrouds, like the M1 carbine, M1 Garand, 1903A1 Springfield, etc., by the way, the wood upper half of the stocks on any of these is considered a "barrel shroud", and I am sure many more rifles of the last century also. Yes indeed, young Andrew is looking for a platform plank for his run for president in 2016. All his proposals come from Bloomberg, Brady, or other firearms hating groups.

Are we being hypnotized?
I recently heard an analogy that said the Press had hypnotized us the the "Fiscal Cliff" agenda to scare us and shape option.
Are they doing the same thing for Guns?
Who is driving the conversation?
Why are they doing it.

Are we possibly being goated into doing something rash?

I have never heard the kinds of things I have heard in the past week or two.

Tempers are beginnig to flare.

The Costal liberals think they are in position to finally initiate thier agendas. They really have no clue how the middle of the county thinks or will react.
I fear they are in for a rude awakening.
