The screw that holds the laser in place periodically comes loose, rises, and causes the slide to jam. This happens even though I've returned the weapon to S & W for repair. I can work around the problem by tightening the screw when I clean the weapon and after every 100 rounds or so, but it's annoying. Can anyone think of a better fix?
Another, less serious, problem is that since the weapon's last trip to S & W (for a broken tigger) the slide does not lock back after the last round has been fired. Does anyone have an idea of how to deal with this issue?
For reasons that have nothing to do with reliability, I like this weapon and don't want to replace it.
