Just some advise!

Anytime you are stopped by the law along with your licience, registration, and proof of insurance, don`t forget your concealed permit! Just out of respect!

One can give ultimate "respect" without allowing the trampling of personal rights/space. The more we (the people) allow, just for convenience sake, LE technicians UN-bridled entry to our belongings, vehicles, personal information, the more they think that they have "authority" to do so. I respect my public servants enough to treat them with abundant respect, yet allowing them to remain the iconic bulwark of our society by working within their lawful constraints.

IF YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, YOU DON'T HAVE RIGHTS!

Ask your local LE friends to provide to you the specific sections of your State's Law Code that authorizes them to:
1. Ask if you have firearms in your vehicle
2. Ask you to leave your vehicle w/out suspicion of a specific crime
3. Surrender your keys &/or vehicle with OR w/out suspicion of a specific crime
4. Surrender your firearm for their inspection, serial check, etc.

They will likely take a day or two to get back to you, IF you ever hear from them again.

I'm leaning towards stupid troll, myself. Although the OP did have the minimal intelligence to not post this in the Open Carry forum...

if i am not carrying at the time a leo pulls me over lets say for a traffic thing i don't see any reason to show the cc permit? or are you suggesting i do so anyways?

Yes, I am responding to the "dweller beneath the bridge", so don't beat me up too much. (Sorry, Treo, sometimes I can't help myself.)

First, your nickname here suggests that you speak for the Smith & Wesson shooting team. Is that correct? While you have a choice of nicknames, when you arrived here and made your first post a poorly-written piece of opinion, your "nickname" may be offensive to the real members of "Team S&W".

Next, learn to spell or how to use the correct word. Your thread is entitled "Just some advise!", which is incorrect. Instead of "advise", you should have used the word "advice". There is a difference: look it up. While "anytime" is a word, as it is used in your statement, it should be two words as in "any time". I won't mention your improper use of commas. Finally, why would you use exclamation points after each of your statements? Are they surprises?

I'm done. Rant mode off.

I once was stopped for speeding. It was a fair bust. The officer was quite an obnoxious jerk at first. Then I handed him both my licenses, drivers and cc. He suddenly became quite pleasant and the whole business proceeded smoothly and in almost a friendly manner. I guess the CCL told him I wasn't really a "bad guy".
He still didn't make the Christmas card list. LOL
