Course done tonight... Where do I get the application to bring to the sherrfids office ??? Do I have to get it Monday and bring it Tuesday to my appointment , or are they cool and I can fill it out like doc paper work the same day ?

Not near enough info provided in your post. The State you're applying in would be helpful for a start. You stated "just got my ccw", yet you still have to fill out an application? Confused. I, unfortunately can't read minds.

You should be able to get it off of the Sheriffs web site, I had it all filled out with the copies of the things they needed with it when I submitted mine.

Applications are not always available at the Sheriff's Dept. In Florida you apply through the Dept of Agriculture. However, the Sheriff's Dept should be able to direct you to the right source. In many cases the apps are available online. Then there's the matter of the finger prints. Florida will mail you the print card to have down at your own local S/O. In Nevada they requested me to come in to the S/O so they could do the prints. Again, call your local S/O with your questions and they can direct you. I'm surprised your training instructor didn't provide that info during your class.

should have been given to you in your class. Our instructor gave us the form & told us where to get more if we messed it up. He also gave us web addresses and phone #'s including his own if we had questions. Your instructor did give you a certificate of completion for your class didn't he?

To my knowledge Minnesota doesn't fingerprint applicants. Is that unusual?

Minnesota does not require a applicants fingerprints. My question is, how is that unusual? I'm pretty sure MN isn't the only state that doesn't fingerprint.

After taking the course, I called the police station and made my appointment. I sat down and she asked me a couple of questions while SHE filled out the application online.

Never heard of making appointments with LE just doctors, lawyers, funeral directors and job interviews.
