Joshua Boston on Piers Morgan

At least he refrained from calling him a silly, stupid man. I guess even Piers is smart enough to realize that talking down to a Marine on national TV is a bad idea.

An honorable man speaks honorably

Joshua Boston reprsented our side extremely well. He remained calm and made direct attempts to counter Piers' comments and he should be proud of his performance in the interview.

Piers will never change his mind, he knows he’s got a hot subject and he will milk it for as long as he can, tonight he’s going to have the man on his show, who he said was a very stupid man concerning gun ownership. Joshua did a very good job giving his opinion to Piers. It seems that Piers cannot control his temper where it comes to the basic facts concerning gun ownership; he just can’t / won’t try to understand the other side of the debate. Tonight’s show should be interesting.

Once again, Piers Morgan proves that he is a contentious, stuffy, old asshat who brings to every argument that we, the people of the United States, should join his countrymen in the brotherhood of unarmed subjects.

If the petition to deport him goes through, count me in for all of his airfare back to the UK.

Screw that, make him swim.

No argument with anyone's take on Sgt. Boston, or Slimey Limey Morgan for that matter, but I am kind of surprised that no one is lumping General McChrystal in with the looney left after what he said on another former "conservative's" agenda-driven show, "Morning Joe." (Clip of it played by Morgan during the above interview.)

As far as I'm concerned, McChrystal is now among the legion of oath-takers who have, or will in the future, violate their oaths due to either their own personal agendas, or to blind obedience to illegitimate tyrants, regardless of the constitutionality of the laws they are ordered to enforce.

It's gettin' ready to get real up in here........

Josh did a nice job on that interview. Kept his composure and marshaled his facts and principles. We (collectively) need to keep doing just that. When the media and others make outrageous distortions and claims with respect to firearms, they need to be confronted, over and over, in just such a manner as Josh did.
.
Also agree with BluesStringer re Gen McChrystal. McChrystal, while brilliant, has disappointed before. The brouhaha that led to his resignation was not the first time, nor in my opinion the most serious (read up on the general & Pat Tillman). He apparently does not subscribe to the position that our 2nd Amendment has anything to do with "the people" protecting themselves against tyranny, or he could not have made such a statement.

He (Joshua) did a great job! PM should be taken half way to England. My understanding is they don't want him back either. We can drop him off and he can swim the direction he wants to go.

Sadly, as often happens with General Officers, McChrystal thinks he knows better than everyone else and is offering opinions on subjects he should leave alone. His mouth has gotten him in trouble before and his "honor" seems to be lacking.
