John Walsh to continue Piers Morgan gun control rant on CNN...

Apparently CNN hasn't learned yet. Piers Morgan's ratings went down the toilet because of his constant rants for gun control, so of course the natural decision is to replace him with someone else who will continue the rant. Walsh says he has been on both sides of the issue because he owns guns and is the father of a murdered child. Of course, the fact that his son was murdered by a pedophile with a knife doesn't add up with his desire to control guns. He wants gps chips in all guns, and says that isn't big brother, he wants universal background checks even though it has been proven that they stop nothing, and he wants a doctor to sign off on our mental health before we purchase firearms. He says the NRA is to blame for all our problems, and that it wants to "...arm every grammar-school 80-year-old teacher with a gun...," something he says "...is absolutely ludicrous.". The notion of an 80 year old grammar school teacher is ludicrous.

Walsh should know better than most that having the ability to defend one's self would have greatly reduced the number of murders (and criminals!) he profiled on his show, America's Most Wanted, but instead, he wants us to all be potential victims. His solution? He is now the spokesman for an emergency phone service.

John Walsh is a shameless media whore and showman. He DOES NOT represent families of missing or murdered children. He is also a gun owner (both long and handgun).

Of course he is. And he figures that's what gives him legitimacy to call for gun control, which, he says (repeating the oft-repeated lie), 90% of us firearms owners want. CNN figures it got the combination right this time. He's an AMERICAN firearms owner who is the father of a murdered child, not some limey transplant who never owned owned a gun, only had a child because he knocked up someone else's wife, and wouldn't know which end of the gun to point downrange if his life depended on it.

I've just lost all respect for John Walsh. Before, because of his desire to put criminals behind bars, he had it.

I've lumped him in with all the Hollywood hypocrites now. Shame. His train left the track somewhere and he is now the enemy of self-defense, and law-abiding gun owners everywhere. His position is especially atrocious, as he owns firearms himself. Guns for me, but not for thee.

Another self-appointed constitutional expert, lying, socialist leaning, misguided tool. Since his show was about facts to apprehend criminals, he now does an about-face and spews the same effluent and lies as his predecessor.

He should know better. It must be about the money, and anti-gun agenda. I wonder how many gold-plate dinners he spent with our administration and news media to turn him into an enemy?

Judge Pirro/Napolitano are going to have a field-day with this fool.

We better as well. This guy is a serious threat to our 2nd amendment.

When I saw the name "Jon Walsh" it caught my attention. Here in Montana we have a Senator named John Walsh. He is a democrat, but he is pro gun. (At least that is what he potrays himself as) So, when I saw the headline, it really gave me pause.
