National Police Week is fast approaching. This is a time for individuals to pay their respects to the fallen Police Officers (both military and civilian) who put their lives on the line to provide much of the safety we all appreciate in our day to day lives.
With that said, the 628th Security Forces Squadron Combat Arms section will host its 2nd Annual Pistol Shooting Competition in support of National Police Week.
This event will be hosted at the Combat Arms range (Bldg #690) on 15 May 2013. This pistol competition is open to all military/DoD civilian members working on base. Unfortunately this event is "NOT" open to the public or dependents, however, dependents may accompany their sponsors for support.
The competition will be administered as such: 4-person teams, with one of those members being identified as team captain. The Combat Arms section will provide the weapons and ammunition to be fired for the event. ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVATELY OWNED WEAPONS OR AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED.
