"It's an impossible barrage to survive from," Sandy Hook teachers on "assault weapons
On CBS, during a segment entitled, "the heroic teachers of Sandy Hook" (A number of whom have formed yet another gun grabber group, Sandy Hook Teachers for Gun Sense, that is working for the usual things, all of which have already been proven to stop no one and to burden firearms owners) when asked if any of them wish today that they had been armed that day (at about the 8:00 mark), the teachers laughed at the idea. The librarian, whose husband is supposedly an NRA member and whose home has guns in it - stored in a safe, she added (of course, the guns used in the Sandy Hook shooting were ALSO stored in a gun safe, for all the good that did) - said,
The report continues to use the disproven "survey" of NRA members that concluded that 74% of them support universal background checks, as well as the cooked "school shooting" number provided by Brady and the 31,000 "gun death" statistic they like to throw around, and which we have discussed at length on tis forum.

"And you know what? If there had been someone at the entrance to our school with a gun, they would have been dead too. There's a reason they call them "assault weapons." It's an impossible barrage to survive from. We survived because we were lucky and because he was stopped, for whatever reason, before he could do more damage."
