Well here it is Christmas eve and it is snowing to beat the band. In a 111 years of record keeping here it has only snowed 6 times. Must be that darn global warming.

LOL! Al Gore is such an idiot.....his band of followers are even bigger idiots! My parents flew up from San Antonio last Thursday and on Saturday and Sunday we got 22 inches of snow here on Cape Cod. They fly home tomorrow through DFW. They're hoping they won't be too delayed tomorrow. Merry Christmas! Looks like you'll have a white one.

Well here it is in S.W. Michigan and it is raining and supposed to change to freezing rain and then just rain for tomorrow. Of course here in Michigan the weather can change hourly.

Be safe and have a Merry Christmas.

Thanks guys. Hope you have a Merry Christmas as well. Things can change here real fast as well. It was in the 70's yesterday.

For those of you that don't believe in global warming, too bad. You need to look at more areas than just your own. I've lived in a few different areas of the country, and the weather patterns have changed all around. Learn some world history. Global weather history. Part of the effects of global warming is that, dry areas get dryer, and wet areas get wetter.
Don't take my word for it, or Al Gores facts, do your own research. And you'll find the facts for your self. Good luck, you guys will be the ones left out in the cold, the heat, etc.
Best wishes.

I believe there are periods through out history where weather changes. I do not think this is some kind of abnormal pattern caused by all of us "greedy Americans using to much fuel". Mr "I am the inventor of the internet" and other Marxists have an agenda they are pushing and it involves a transfer of wealth and a destruction of our republic. There are many scientist that do not follow their brain washing but the liberal news media tries to silence them.

+1 and thanks for your reply HK

Global warming is BS of the highest order...and I have a doctorate in earth science to back up what I say...

(I usually don't advertise that fact because it sounds like I'm tooting my own horn - might be, I guess - but I pull out the big guns when s##t gets thrown in my face.)

If you listen to them they will swear up and down that global warming causes wide temperature swings so your snow is still the fault of global warming..... HUH??? bty anyone want to buy my carbon credits....

What he said! Only my wife is the one with the Earth Science credentials.

Well here it is Wednesday and it is snowing again. Not a lot like you would see up north but snow none the less. I think what we are seeing is global cooling. Perhaps we could get Gore to check into this. I am sure there is something going on that will require a large tax on the middle class to protect the rest of the world.

+1 if I do not get my fair share of global warming real soon I will be sorely tempted to go out and get about 6 old car tires and set them on fire out in the back field......

Hey, it IS warming up here; it's only supposed to be -15 tonite! Hell, we're running around in shorts and t-shirts, shouting praises to the Sun God, and to Al Gore, his minion who floats amongst us mere mortals, guiding and protecting us (from his mansion and private jet, of course).

Here ya go, from the Houston Chronicle:

But who are the skeptics? A few examples reveal that they are numerous and well-qualified. Several years ago two scientists at the University of Oregon became so concerned about the overemphasis on man-made global warming that they put a statement on their Web site and asked for people's endorsement; 32,000 have signed the petition, including more than 9,000 Ph.Ds. More than 700 scientists have endorsed a 231-page Senate minority report that questions man-made global warming. The Heartland Institute has recently sponsored three international meetings for skeptics. More than 800 scientists heard 80 presentations in March. They endorsed an 881-page document, created by 40 authors with outstanding academic credentials, that challenges the most recent publication by the IPCC. The IPCC panel's report strongly concludes that man is causing global warming through the release of carbon dioxide.

Last year 60 German scientists sent a letter to Chancellor Angela Merkel urging her to “strongly reconsider” her position supporting man-made global warming. Sixty scientists in Canada took similar action. Recently, when the American Physical Society published its support for man-made global warming, 200 of its members objected and demanded that the membership be polled to determine the APS' true position.

Sooo.....settled science? I don't think so....

It has been below normal here lately and they said an artic blast whould be here by the end of the week as they said bringing us the coldest temps in 13-15 years. It is Expected to be down into the teens and in some areas even single digets. Boy this global warming is something else.:sarcastic:

The sun has been up early today and it is beautiful, snow still on the grounds since the last snowfall a few days ago and very little winds if any -- it is freezing outside that my dog's wee turns to ice before it even hit the ground.:biggrin:

must be climate change...

summer, winter, autumn, fall........ what a bunch of knuckleheads....:sarcastic:
