I purchased my LC9 last January and since then, the price of the gun has gone up $60 and my ammo of choice has gone up $4 per box of 100.

I was going to say something similar....

Is Obama anti-gun? No, he's anti-liberty. We have to be more pro-gun than he is anti-liberty, or else guns will just get swept up in all the other freedoms that he tramples on. Freedom only exists to the extent that its beneficiaries are willing to pull a trigger to defend it.

Too bad the ill-informed and downright stupid among us are not students of history. Stalin and Hitler were as bad as it gets and their rise to power was literally "powered" by eliminating firearms from citizens. We have a dangerous piece of garbage living in the whitehouse with his brownshirt SEIU, ACORN and absolutely racist black population who will vote for him if he was the devil himself ONLY because he is black. Not only is he a danger if he wins, but do you really think the abovementioned groups will sing koombayah if he loses. I can tell you for a certainty that if they come to my house they will not leave happy and they will go to hell before I go to heaven.

I agree with Otis on this one. It's demand driven. However, Obama is anti-gun, he just doesn't get himself in to the mix. That's what his henchmen are for.

I think demand has a lot to do with it for the time being. However, I do see a hike in taxes coming after the elections... if Obama wins.

Most assuredly he is anti-gun. I just believe he will not do anything about that stance until after his re-election. Although even if re-elected I believe the tide has turned on thoughts of gun ownership in this country. Save for a few folks with a bully pulpit no one in elected office at the national level wants to touch gun rights. The NRA has done a good job getting the message out. We like our freedom and our right to bear arms in this country.

if he's re-elected ; watch for the restrictions on brass as a precious metal & therefore controlled by the Fedl Govt, environmental rules on shooting, and very high taxes on ammunition.
I would also expect to see them put restrictions on how much ammo you could buy. The one box a month scenario. All of these have been pushed by people in his Administration and / or the Brady Bunch. Some of these, don't require Congress.... only an Executive Order or a regulation by some agencies.

And , say goodbye to your IRA.... as they've had in their back pocket to tax all IRA funds now (can you imagine the tax rates you'ld be paying) and take control of all IRA's. Pelosi has voiced it numerous times and Obama stated, that is for another time (2nd term). I'll transfer mine to off-shore funds in a flash.
