Overview
Internment/resettlement specialists are primarily responsible for day-to-day operations in a military confinement/correctional facility or detention/internment facility.

•Supervision of confinement and detention operations
•External security to facilities
•Counseling/guidance to individual prisoners within a rehabilitative program
•Records of prisoners/internees and their programs

My Thoughts:
Anyone out here who can explain what this MOS is all about? Doesn't smell right.
 
Thirty-one series MOS so military police related. What smells fishy about it? Doesn't almost everyone incarcerated in the stockade eventually get released and resettled with society?
 
It sounds spooky, but these are the guys that run Ft. Levenworth and GITMO. They are called on to run POW camps in the time of war and in peacetime they hone thier POW internment skills in military prisons.
 
This MOS used to be 95C, I was a MP (95B) first and then became a correctional specialist (95C). they have since I was in in the 60's changed all the MOS numbers around for some reason.
I was assigned to Ft. Leavenworth, where I worked in the maximum security section.
