"Troll" as (too) many in this forum would define it: Anybody who says something not consistent with prevailing groupthink.
I look at it as "one the pushes a false ideology or a moot point to the point of extreme". Take atheist for example..............
They are like the drunk old uncle rambling on about something nobody believes or cares about at a Thanksgiving family dinner. Nobody likes or cares about what he's saying, but they put up with it until he passes out and shuts the hell up.
Its almost as if you can't see the mirror your standing in front of...insulting others while offering no support for atheism. Predictable, typical, pathetic.
We don't have to, for there is nothing to support, just the resounding silence of the many non-existent gods and deities of religion. The silence is deafening.
It must be exhausting to support the non-existent.
Lazy is as lazy does.

Recess is over, the constant stream of school yard taunts really demonstrate how desperate you are to be right, but have nothing but your desperation in that effort, or it just exhaustion that leaves you with nothing but taunts and insults?
Atheism must be the belief that you can name call your way through life while offering nothing of value.

There is no 'a' in theism
TROLL!!!
Seriously though, I disagree with many members here, both self identified as (R)epublicans and (D)emocrats because I believe those two parties (and the garbage they spew) is/are full of it. I go against the groupthink regularly and I'm not labeled a "troll". The manner in which a person disagrees plays a large roll in how other members eventually label them.

To me a troll is someone who scouts forums with the sole purpose of causing annoyance to these who disagree with his opinions. He's not necessarily concerned with the subject matter. He baits his opponents and then insults them. To the troll the "slap" or "jab" is the juice. He gets off on it. It is somewhat sadistic in nature. Then again we can just flush the troll. He fits right down the toilet drain.
Howdy gaybob,
Actually just the opposite is true.
You are the Number 1 Cheerleader and Kool-Aide drinker for Navy Seal, Ringo and a few other basement dwellers.
But, hey....... Thanks for the laugh, it was priceless!

Bwahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whatever, dude.
How we can get under a "troll's" skin is to ignore him and not read or respond to him.
Most if not all trolls believe the reason we do not like them is because they say things that is not on the same page as we are. There are some if not many who I do not always agree with. But the reason I do not put them in the "troll" category is because I have found that we can discuss the topic without the name calling or disrespecting each other. For me I come away from the exchange at least considering their opinion.
But with trolls it is always name calling and coming across with a TOTAL mind set on their stance without even considering that they (gasp) could be wrong!!! So for me I have gotten to the point that I can not suffer fools. So I put them on my Ignore List. So far I only put 10 on my Ignore List and 3 of them have been banned from this forum! So I must be doing something right!
