I love Wisconsin... Open Carry...Concealed Carry...Loaded Handgun in the car, no problem! I got my Arizona Non Resident CCW Permit and have been enjoying a Freedom that was stolen from me, before I was Born! I would recommend to any Illinois Resident that believes in Freedom to visit Wisconsin and get a CCW Permit from Utah or Arizona. We will eventually get CCW in Illinois, but why wait, when Wisconsin is so close and the people are so friendly. I think every good , Freedom loving person who left Illinois is in Wisconsin!

That may be so. and from what I here, They are saying on the news, that the drug lords are the reason for the high crime rate in Chicago Illinois. Well! Why do You Illinois people think they choose Chicago, DUH? Because You're the only state who has civilians who can't protects themselves outside the home. Give Your residents the ability to arm themselves so they can walk the streets without fear of getting gunned down by these thugs. and I bet your crime rate will go down...Nobody wants to shoot at someone who can shoot back!
You are absolutely right and I agree 100%. The problem is the same as it has been, since 1961. A populace that will not Vote out the Skunks in office that first passed this Law or the Skunks that keep it, like Governor Quinn, Senator Madigan and Senator Cullerton, Etc. Even the people who support changing the Law, act like Lamb's. I give em' my middle finger and say spin on this, oppressor! But, I'm called a radicle or a Law breaker... oh well.

Many major cities with "urban decay" and out of control budgets/spending are the result of democrat power that has gone unchecked for years. My in-laws who live in northeast Pennsylvania will have a 34% increase in their school tax due to out of control spending that is the result of the democrat party there.

As long as the Democrats are in office in Illinois there will never be a CC law that will pass for the average citizen. It scares the hell out of the elected officials that the citizens would be able to have a gun. The bigger question is why, if so many people in Illinois want CC, are they voting to keep these Tyrants in office?

Former Illinois resident moved to AZ and have not looked back once, this is one of the main reasons. I had my FOID (cut it up and burned it when I moved to AZ) I legally owned firearms in Illinois, and unless I was in my home I wasn't afforded the right to protect myself or my family with my legally owned firearms. Illinois, being the only state in the 50 that has NO provision for carry of any type, will continue to these oppressive laws on the books as long as Springfield takes its cues from Chicago. I have to agree with Wizard and have wondered many times myself why so many law abiding citizens in Illinois want carry of some kind, but keep electing officials that are so anti gun they wet themselves at the mere thought of private citizens using anything other than foul language to defend themselves.
