This is two replies from Florida's Senators and still nothing is done.
Have any of you contacted your Senators and what was their reply and what are they doing?
From Rubio....
Dear Mr. Banjarmon,
Thank you for contacting me regarding the imprisonment of Andrew Tahmooressi, a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Individual Ready Reserve, in Mexico. I am grateful for your thoughts and appreciate the opportunity to respond.
As you know, Mr. Tahmooressi, a Florida resident, is being held on weapons charges in a Mexican prison for driving into Mexico with three fire arms that were legally purchased in the U.S. and registered in his name. I have serious concerns about this, and I have been in contact with the United States Department of State as well as Mr. Tahmooressi's family to obtain additional information. I have also asked Secretary of State John Kerry to make this a priority in the diplomatic relationship between the United States and Mexico. Additionally, I have been in contact with the Mexican Ambassador to the United States on this matter. Please know that I will continue to follow Mr. Tahmooressi's case closely, and I hope that we can use U.S. diplomatic influence to quickly facilitate his safe return home.
As a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, I will keep your comments and opinions in mind and I will continue to work diligently to ensure the United States remains a safe and prosperous nation.
Sincerely,
Marco Rubio
United States Senator

Dear Mr. Banjarmon:
Thank you for contacting me about the imprisonment of U.S. Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi in Mexico.
On March 31 2014, Sgt. Tahmooressi accidentally crossed into Mexico with three firearms registered in the United States and was subsequently detained. As soon as Sgt. Tahmooressi’s family called us, I immediately contacted U.S. officials and also wrote the Mexican Ambassador in Washington to make sure Sgt. Tahmooressi’s safety and well-being is a top priority. We're working to get him home and into the treatment he sought from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
I appreciate hearing from you on this important issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the future.
Sincerely,
Bill Nelson
