If you value your 2nd amendment rights

If you value your 2nd Amendment rights, I urge you to join any pro-gun association and lobbying group you can. We are going to see an avalanche of anti-gun legislation from now on. We will see a concerted effort to ban assault weapons, semi-auto rifles and handguns, high-capacity magazines, and any number of specific anti-gun measures.

It's not a matter of if, or what. Or even when. It's going to happen, and with tbe full weight of the anti-gun media behind it.

Please, if you are not a member of the NRA, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Gun Owners of America, and other pro-gun groups, I urge you to join one or more. Us gun owners will have to come together as never before to keep our right to own and use our guns. We cannot let the antis dictate to us what our rights will be.

C'mon guys and gals, let's make this a fight we can win.

I could not agree more. We will see every shooting that occurs in the US for a while also. The media will hype all gun related crimes to show why they should get rid of all guns.

I totally agree with the OP. We need all the lobbying we can get right now.

However, I'm reminded of Charlston Heston's speech in 2000. "...from my cold, dead hands." is something not to be taken lightly.

I will not have the tools to protect my family taken from me. I hardly believe that making us law abiding citizens less able to defend outselves is going to make anything better.

On meet the press this morning Bloomberg was saying how the nra is no longer a force to be reckoned with.

He also had the audacity to claim that the us is the only country where this kind of thing (school attack) happens. Made him look like an idiot, not 5 minutes before another program (same channel) reported how Germany, Scotland, and several other countries have faced the same thing.
