Idiotic Lawmaker's of "Ill"inois Criminalize Firearm's Outside of Home

Measure—HB 2265—does not even differentiate between possession by law-abiding citizens and possession by criminals or gang member scumbag's, because whoever drafted it is clearly an anti-gun libtarded nutjob with an agenda to keep firearm's out of the hand's of law abiding, tax-paying citizen's.
The NRA warns that this asinine law creates yet another situation where a law-abiding citizen who has a gun in his or her car for self-defense would "face serious penalties for an innocuous mistake."
In other words, someone who has moved to the state but has yet to receive their carry permit or FOID would face extensive jail time for the victimless crime of exercising their constitutional right to keep and bear arms and they would be labeled as a criminal under yet another idiotic law from those fascist minded lawmaker's within the socialist state of Illinois.

This is the wording that they have put into HB 2265 that concerns FOID and permits:
"(c-1) It is not a violation of item (C) of paragraph (3)
7 of subsection (a) of this Section if the person who carries or
8 possesses the firearm does not at the time of the commission of
9 the act of carrying or possessing the firearm have a currently
10 valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card because his or her
11 Card has expired not more than 90 days after the commission of
12 the act that would otherwise be a violation of item (C) of
13 paragraph (3) of subsection (a) of this Section.".


"(c-1) For the purposes of this Section, a currently valid
7 Firearm Owner's Identification Card includes any card which has
8 not been revoked by the Department of State Police and expired
9 not more than 90 days before the commission of the act of
10 carrying or possessing the firearm.".


The article you posted is a bit vague as to what they are meaning.

I just copied amendment 002 and amendment 003 which dealt with the FOID and permits.

That is the way IL is. They will do all they can to cut the legs out of the CC Law. I have a most of my family who lives in IL and I do not plan on getting a non res CCL from them. Mainly because it would cost me $300 and because I fear that it would become of no use at all. I believe that they will issue the permit and then make laws that you will ONLY be able to carry on February 29th, when the moon is full in the year of the snake. Or some other such crap.

I would not trust IL politicians at all. Just take a good look at the POS in the WH!!!!!!
