"I Think It's Almost Amusing" People Are Upset That I Want to Cut Vet's Funerals

Youtube description:

St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist Bill McClellan was on The O'Reilly Factor tonight to discuss his outrageous column from Tuesday where he advocated for cutting funding for veterans' funerals. "The column said the way you cut a budget is you cut little programs that might be nice but you don't need and you trim bigger ones. And it's been taken as a despicable attack on veterans. And, you know, I think it's almost amusing."

Despicable!!

I personally am not worried if I don't have a bugler, but to just keep cutting from veterans like we aren't deserving? F that a$$hole, hope nothing nice for him.

I never heard of this "columnist" before, and that is probably his problem, he needed to be noticed. Sort of like a couple of pathetic comedians in the past week. And now, no one that dosen't read the Dispatch will ever heaar of him again. Vets make easy targets in the current political environment.

as a vet i think this a$$hole should get a real job and go over there he can then see why we should get what we have earned by putting are a$$ on the line

I apologize for the language ahead of time.

If this m*ther f*ucker said that sh!t while I was next to him I'd be inclined to curb-check his b!tch @ss, right after I gave him a lesson in respect for what some of the bravest men he'd ever have the privilege to meet have sacrificed in the name of American Liberty and his right to be free! I'd express to him the feeling of draping the flag over a deceased brother-in-arms and saluting him as the ramp-toes closed, holding back your tears as you think about how that young man will never hold his loved ones again, the people he left behind, whether he had children, a wife... and will that be me one day? The feeling of kneeling before a rifle, helmet and boots to show your respect and say a few last words for the memory of a friend, to say goodbye to a life that wasn't yet done being lived... to lose you composure, to weep b/c it's the only thing left to do.

Until you've had the displeasure in knowing what that feels like, you have no right to think about... much less speak about disrespecting something like the funeral of a fallen brother. This is sickening, and this son of a b!tch deserves the worst IMO... to hell with him, I hope it hurts.
