I need some help with a ltcf

Hello yall, i am new to the site and am interested in some knowledge from ya. ill start off saying i am a 22yr old college student who loves firearms and am hoping to one day become a gun smith(am currently becoming a machinist).

Now here is my dilemma,i am from Pennsylvania, and a couple years back i got in a little trouble. I ended up taking a plea and receiving a misdemeanor 2. Now before anyone goes crazy, this does not keep me from owning a gun, but it does conflict with PA's laws on ltcf. I don't think the sheriff will budge and i am skeptical about ways to transport a firearm to oc without a ltcf.

Now what i would like to know first is: 1 - Is it ok to transport a firearm(in PA) in a lock box in trunk, and open carry after you are parked?

2 - If not, which states that have reciprocity, will let you mail in an application, be a non resident, and not have a problem with a misdemeanor 2 charge?

If anyone knows the answers to these questions, i would be very thankful.

Have a good day yall, and safe shooting!

1. No. PA is pretty restrictive on transport without a LTCF. Between certain points A to points B.
2. I think the only options left are UT and NH however, UT would require you to have a PA LTCF and NH would require you to have a permit from any other state.
