Wow, what a country. Just Googled my user name and it is listed under this site.

Do this test. Google " Ate fish, under an umbrella, in the rain, in a snowstorm" If several people look for that string of letters, google will find it, it may find it being asked just once or twice.

Google spiders are everywhere.

I love to play Texas Hold'em which is why I picked Big Slick. Goolge that and 1,000,000 other things come up instead of my screen name.:yu:

I did that and the first response was this thread.

Get out your tin foil, make a hat, and realize, Google knows your ISP number, the electronic, and physical address you post from, and the BING satellite photos capturing system, is looking in your living room window, and reading the mail, you sat on the coffee table. They have accessed your PC and laptop cameras, and your cell phone camera, and they have more nude photos of your butt than your grandma took when you were a newborn.

Welcome to the information age.

Google my user name and the most returns will be about Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmie Vaughn or a song that Jimmie wrote called, "Six Strings Down." The song has the words "blues stringer" in it, and is where I took my nick from. People looking for the song probably search on those words because the actual title are the first three words of the lyrics and is never repeated again in the song, while "blues stringer" is repeated several times and those who don't know, probably think it's the title too. The more smething gets searched, the higher it is in the search results typically.

You'd have to go through a lot of results before you'd run across anything that refers to me. In fact, I noticed forum posts by somebody else with my same user name before I found any of my own.

Now, if you use Google Images, you'll get a lot of results near the top that refer to posts of mine or pics stored in my PhotoBucket account. Mostly of knives (I'm a collector) and/or of pics in threads that I commented in on BladeForums.

I've used the same nick for around 10 years, and been way more active on various forums in the early days of using it than here, which I've only been really active on for the last two or three years. I'd show up on more archived searches than current day because of that, but either way, it doesn't bother me that I show up. Just the price of speakin' your mind.

I got about 2500 hits with "Peggy Reist". They weren't all me. In fact, very few were. But my avatar on here did come up, plus a couple of other avatars on here. No pictures of me came up when I was searching images. Pretty much what I figured.

There is the google we get, and the information the abc agency's get. We are not all drinking from the exact same horse trough.

Googled my user name and came up with an ex-Marine and the image of a bearded dude. Damn, glad neither was me. My service was Army!

Howdy,

I googled mine and after 10 pages none were of me.

Since mine is based on the British WWII Sten 9mm SMG that's what comes up.

You have to add more info to find anything related to me.
