I hope we haven't given away our gun rights...

Folks, I couldn't care less if he's black, white, purple, orange, or freakin' green!!! Obama is a morally bankrupt person and I am scared to death of what is going to happen in this country as a result of this election. It's not just what he does in office, it's the residual effects, such as who he appoints to the Supreme Court and such. It's the legacy he will leave that will harm us more than anything he does in office. It's his ties to anarchists, socialist doctrines, the Muslim community, and liberal social agenda that bodes ill for us all. And all that gun violence in Chicago over the last few months??? Illinois = no carry permits, strong anti-gun laws..., well, that's what happens. In Kennesaw, Georgia, there exists a city ordinance that requires residents to own firearms. Want to guess what their crime statistics look like? I hope we all stock up on ammo and guns before it's too late. We've done a very bad thing.....

Yep, can you say Justice Clinton? I also predict an AWB like we've never seen before by the end of 09. I don't agree with laws forcing gun ownership any more than I do with making them illegal. It should be a choice made by all law abiding citizens and not those in government. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Maybe Obama will live up to his campaign promise and not sign any gun control bills. Yeah I know, I'm dreaming.

Thank God I'm alive!
The worst I see happening is a new AWB, and perhaps a ban on lead ammo. As for president-elect Obama, I don't envy him. Whether the winner had been him or McCain, he has got a job on his hands cleaning up the mess Bush has left behind. The $700B bailout is projected to raise the deficit to $983B (that's almost a TRILLION dollars, folks!).

I am scared to death. I think we are in serious trouble as firearm owners. I feel our 2A has just taken a severe blow. All we can do is pray. I stand being the NRA and GOAL and I hope they will lead us out of this potential threat. I know here in PRMA GOAL is working hard to restore our 2A right. I hope that all hope is not lost. I know the NRA works on a national level, which I hope they do well at. I am going to pray. What I will say though. I will never, ever, turn in my firearms because the govt. tells me too. "FROM MY COLD DEAD HANDS" will defiantly come into play. Call me radical call me crazy call me stupid, I will not give in. Anyways, sorry for the rant haha hope you all have a great day today!

Thanks,
Capo

I guess I should also say that in the unlikely event that there is an attempt to take away our guns, then I'll turn into Charlton Heston, "From my cold dead hands." I had my guns before the Obama presidency and I'll continue to have them after it.

Under The Constitution of the State of New Hampshire People who live in the state have the Right of Revolution as well as the states of Kentucky and Maryland

Government being instituted for the common benefit, protection, and security, of the whole community, and not for the private interest or emolument of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, whenever the ends of government are perverted, and public liberty manifestly endangered, and all other means of redress are ineffectual, the people may, and of right ought to reform the old, or establish a new government. The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.

New Hampshire's constitution guarantees its citizens the right to rebellion, in Article 10 of the constitution's Bill of Rights:

In political philosophy, the right of revolution (or right of rebellion) is a right or duty, variously stated throughout history, of a people to overthrow an oppressive government. It is likely that in the course of history, many individuals partaking in revolutionary activity have independently justified their actions using similar ideas – that an oppressive leader should be overthrown.

lol stick that in your pipe and smoke it..

Obama is a mack daddy!
I'm more worried about the Congress turn out

Congress is the beast we need to worry about folks. That's where the legislation starts. We already know there's an AWB in Congress now. Buy what you're going to buy now.

I feel that without a doubt we will see not only the worst attack on our 2nd Amendment rights ever but on all our rights. It is a dark day in America folks.

Relax.. the sky is not falling and we will continue to have our guns... and we will still be able to buy ammo for them... America elected a President not a dictator and we have a system of checks and balances that has worked for over 200 years.. one man cannot make this system go away and if you think he can then I really feel sorry for you.. there is no reason to fear this person..

Thank God we have a group such as the NRA to protect our rights. What I fear is how they have slowly taken them on the coattails of other laws, making us feel like we are getting the better deal. But, I don't think he will be able to make all the 2A rights go away..... for now.

You are correct. We've already seen attacks against the 1A during the Obama campaign and it's going to keep on going. When Rush and the others disappear then perhaps they may take us more seriously.

Interesting point of view. I always like to to get the interplanetary opinions.

"My first priority will be to reinstate the assault weapons ban as soon as I take office. Within 90 days, we will go back after kitchen table dealers, and work to end the gun show and internet sales loopholes. In the first year, I intend to work with Congress on a national no carry law, 1 gun a month purchase limits, and bans on all semi-automatic guns."

With things the way they are I think he has bigger things to worry about. I don't think this will happen and no I am not in outer space.. think about it-- he has a war going on and a failing economy.. I think that in itself will keep him busy for 4 years.

I hope you're right. But he needs quick victories, and with all the suck-ups who will be anxious to climb aboard the victory wagon he will go for what he can get good press with.

To say we don't need to worry about him is, to say the least, disingenuous in the extreme.

Hitler also had the same challenges when he rose to power.

No reason to fear this man????

You are really dreaming.

He is going to appoint his men to the Supreme Court. We will be adversely affected for years.

He stated many times he sees no reason for anyone to carry guns. He voted to prosecute a homeowner for
defending his/her life.

And you say we have nothing to fear? Get REAL!!

Were are in deep manure.

Clinging to God and guns
I am worried but I look at it this way. The man is young and we are at least getting him out of the way now. If he hadn't won the election this time around, he would have been back as the dem frontrunner in 2012. And he would keep turning up like a bad penny!!
