So he plopped down $1,700 on a gun safe from the Champion Safe Co., only to discover upon delivery that there was no room inside. That's because someone used it to ship 300 pounds of pot, worth an estimated $425,000. The safes were manufactured in Mexico and packaged by prison inmates, and now police are trying to track down the driver who trucked a load of safes to a warehouse in Ohio. "Not only are we looking for him," said Shelby County Sheriff John Lenhart, "but the bad guys are, too."
