I got a Renegade Conceal Carry Holster for Christmas.

My son, got me a Renegade Conceal Carry Holster for Christmas. It is made by Laying J Leather. When I got it I was immediately impressed with the fit and finish. My mother was a professional seamstress when I was young and believe you me, I went over the stitching with a fine tooth comb. ZERO DEFECTS!!!!!!!!!! This rig is made out of very sturdy nylon and industrial grade elastic webbing.
It has the capacity for a large frame semi automatic such as a 1911 or in my case a High Power 9MM. The four mag holders are stitched right into the design and are quite secure without binding. This gives the rig good symmetry and balance. There is also room for a small tactical light if you so desire.
There is a retention strap for the gun but this is plenty snug...so...I will probably just tuck it out of the way.
This is a deep conceal holster so I can be a tucker again!!!!!!
It covers up really well and there is an added bonus. Back Support!!!! I have had more than one back surgery in my life and anything that puts that gentle support like pressure on that part of my back is a value added feature.
I am amazed by how comfortable it is. I am a big dude at 260 lbs and 6ft 2in. This holster rig is just plain cool. I wish I had access to something like this years ago when I started carrying.
Drawing is just a tad different in that if needed I would suggest a shirt with snaps or if you don't mind just let the buttons fly...Shirts are cheap...Life is not!!!!
Lift the gun up about 2 inches and just snap it forward. It comes free without a hitch or hang up. The draw is smooth there is no hesitation or hang up.
Retention is positive as I did jumping jacks and did chores around the house with no slippage what so ever.
I think my son really outdid himself this season with getting me this as a gift. Here is an added bonus...The original holster order was goofed up by that "O" internet company (do I look like a medium?). It only took one call to the Jeff Hedge at Laying J Leather to get this whole thing squared away. When I spoke with him on the phone we chatted for about an hour and I have nothing but respect and best wishes for a company that works as hard as they do to get things right. He is as personable and friendly as they come. Pretty much a professional cowboy for most of his adult, Jeff Hedge wanted to design build and offer a holster that is light years ahead of the crowd and well made in America! Jeff is a man of his word. He is humble and gracious and willing to work with the customer to resolve any questions or issues. The turn around on his customer service was beyond fast. The only time lost was from the postal service and that was not much at all.
