I didn't know this was an illness

I got my LTC two years ago this month and purchased my LC9 a few days later. I figured one gun would be enough. Since that day I continually read about everything I can get my hands on regarding handguns.

I don't have a lot of spare money to be purchasing other guns but it's nice to dream.

Well, I just finished my 25th year as a tech with Comcast and received a gorgeous Swiss watch and ideas started to swirl in my head. I'm a simple man and don't really have a need for such a watch and wondered if I could sell it and use the proceeds for another gun. I didn't make a lot of money but it was more "available gun money" than I had before, but I sold the watch on CraigsList 2 days after posting it and am $325 closer to buying something else.

I have no idea what it will be but in the meantime, I'll just continue to save, read and dream!

I was in the same boat as you, even the wife was the one who suggest that we get one and three handgun and one rem. 870 later but now I told myself that this is it.

I really appreciate your story. I wish I had one 10th your ability to wait.
While your waiting and reading spend a little time watching folks at the range. See what they are shooting and pay close attention to those people who are shooting well.
If you were watching me shoot I would invite you to give my gun a try.
If you kiss a lot of Frogs (Being, try a lot of guns) your sure to end up with one sweet gun for your next purchase.

Love your story, love your dream... however I have found fewer firearms and more ammunition is the dream I have now.

You need to manage you money better always leave money for ammo also.

I manage my money beautifully. Just because one physically has the money, it doesn't necessarily mean it is spare cash. I am well into 6 digits saved up but refuse to touch it and love seeing that number go up every month. It's not how much you get that counts - what matters is what you DO with what you get.

Sounds like you need to invest in some precious metals. You know - brass, lead, and "(shooting) irons."

Most articles that I have read suggest buying the same pistol as your first for your second carry. That way you'll have the same feel as your primary, same magazine, same ammo.

Keep the dream alive...do your homework and get the gun best suited to your wants and needs!

I am psychic and I see a nice 1911 in your future. Continue to save and that dream will be reality. It took me 7 years to acquire my latest 2 dreams but they eventually materialized.
