I conceal carried today and...nothing happened

Just curious...did you have to pay the government for permission to conceal carry?

Its not a right its a privilege they can take away anytime they want!the second Amendment States that we can keep and bear arms to protect our house there's nothing in the second Amendment that says we have the right to conceal and carry

Actually it states we have a right to keep And bear arms to defend our free states from tyranny and oppression of our own government nothing about our house but I beleive its a blanket statement for all three our selves our home and our states so good men may act in defense of liberty wherever tyranny may find them

SECOND AMENDMENT:
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
One must actually read this in light of the document that was the precursor to the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence:
"That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. ... But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security"
This country was founded by a group of men who undertook the overthrow of their government BY FORCE. One reasons the Second Amendment exists is to preserve not only the right but also the ability of the citizen to do the same should it become necessary to preserve the FREEDOM of the state.

NO SIR Keeping and bearing arms openly on yourself is a right (usa citizens) so that citizens would have 24-7 access to their arms whether home on not.
"concealed" carry is the state governments getting a database of handgun owners while knowing most people would prefer to carry concealed rather than openly in today's society of people that are scared at the sight of a holstered gun if not on a cop's hip.

I don't need to read that. I can read the Second Amendment just fine. I already know Scalia's opinion anyway, which is all it is. HIS opinion, not an interpretation.
You are like a really, really bad comedian who has one horrible joke in his repertoire that he keeps repeating over and over and over again even though he is the only one who laughs.
