I was channel surfing on the TV this afternoon and went by CNN and HLN with no intention of watching anymore of their anti one-sided arguments on the gun control issue. But for some reason I did stop on HLN when I heard the narrow-eyed, narrowed minded anchor say that they wanted to get some of the arguments from the pro-gun side of the debate. I thought at first I had misunderstood them, but sure enough they had a pro-gun individual who was an analysis on the news media and their practices of reporting the news. The guy (and I wish I could remember his name!) is the first pro-gun individual to be interviewed that I have seen that had the backbone and guts to come out and say that the news media organizations were going have to accept some of the blame for creating an atmosphere that has encouraging these mentally deranged individuals to carry out their mass killings with firearms. He came right out and condemned the TV networks for "glorifying" these deranged individuals who have carred out these events by continually showing their pictures and announcing their names on the air after these events. His view was that this creates the mindset in other deranged individuals that this is a way for them to get some attention and to become famous, in their minds. The anchor tried everyway they could to interupt and stop the conversation, but this guy kept right on going! I nearly fell out of my chair to see someone finally have the backbone and guts to stand up to the news media and throw it back in their faces about their disgusting one-sided reporting practices and tactics and their lack of any feeling of responsibility for the results of such actions. If anyone else saw this interview, do you remember this guys name? I almost wanted to go over and kiss the TV while he was kicking the news media's asses!
