[Hypothetical] Same management, different policies: What would you do?

[The following post may need to be moved for more accurate categorization.]

Our town is getting a new, locally-owned pizza place, and it's generating a modest amount of interest, mostly for its location and style. The bad news is that they share management with a number of other local restaurants that prohibit firearms. (Considering that they've had Link Removed, I have a feeling that policy won't change anytime soon.) More than likely, the new venue will maintain the same policy.

The question of whether or not they would instate that policy, however, led me to question what I would do if the two restaurants ended up with two different policies on lawful carry. My ultimate determination was that I would probably avoid the one that permitted firearms. Sure, they might find higher sales at one than the other and try to find out why that is, but to me, my money would ultimately be going to a management staff that is antagonistic to law-abiding citizens carrying in their properties. I don't think I could stomach that.

So, what's your take? Would you patronize a business that did not itself bar you from carrying, or would you skip it for its management not liking your handgun?

That all depends on the perspective you decide to take. Yes, one perspective could be that the money ends up in the hands of management that is antagonistic toward 2A. Another perspective is that if you are allowed to carry there, then do so. Ultimately, you must decide which perspective wins out and go from there.

I would just call for delivery!

"What? The delivery guy doesn't like my gun? Send a different one!" (worked with dominoes...)

Neither eatery cares if you don't patronize them over a gun policy. Eat where the food is good. Keep it in your pocket and shut up. If anyone asks just ignore them, pay the bill and leave.

Do not do as bc1 suggests and disrespect the property owners rights and put yourself at legal risk... Just don't give them your money.

Their property right is every bit as important as your right to carry. You do not have the right to eat there just like they don't have the right to your cash.
