How often do you carry a BUG? What do you carry and how?

I usually carry my STI 9mm and Colt .40 as BUG. Sometimes I OC one, sometimes I OC both. I rarely ever conceal both unless it's jacket weather.

This week, I'm pretty sore from a near constant workout, so the ounces feel like pounds. I'm gonna OC my new S&W Sigma .40 and CC my P22 in a pocket holster with an extra magazine in another pocket.

All my guns fit in the two blackhawk hip holsters I use most, which are good for OC, but I usually use a Tagua OWB leather fitted holster for the .22 and park it right behind my OC gun. Just my preference.

Cant say that I ever tried. VW BUGS are really heavy! But seriously I do not although I just purchased a Bersa 380cc that seems like it would fit the bill for such purposes. My duty weapon is a Beretta 92G. I purchased the Bersa for summer time carry but after last night I might just open carry the 92. I coach soccer and at the end of practice I leaned over just right and part of the barrel was exposed. One of parents noticed and proceeded to express her disdain. Iam guessing she did not appreciate being told her 1st amendment right right does not supercede other ammendments and if she has such a problem with it she can always request her child be moved to another team.

Can't say I carry a BUG as such. But if I'm taking a road trip, or if I know I'll be in a sad part of town,
I wear a Bond Arms derringer in a cross draw holster. Much easier to draw while driving.

I never leave the house without my NAA Black Widow .22mag tucked in my boot holster. It goes places that my primary carry weapon can't go. Keep in mind that it is my "last resort" gun, not my first choice for defense. Even so, a .22mag in my boot is better than a Sig left in the nightstand.

I OC my M&P .40 caliber 95% of the time in a BlackHawk CQC paddle holster. I then carry my Taurus TCP .380 in my front left pocket.
If I feel an area is a little "squirrelly", I can keep my hand on the .380.
That's just in case some creep tries to "touch" my .40.

New Mexico Law specifically prohibits anyone with a Concealed Carry license carrying
a second concealed gun. So no bugs allowed here.

I personally wouldn't carry a semi as a BUG. If I really need to resort to my BUG, ***** has really hit the fan and I'd rather know with 100% certainty that it won't jam. I carry S&W MP 340 .357 mag on my ankle. Say what you will about ankle carry, but like I said...it is by far and away a last resort. Every video I've seen of LEOs having to resort to a BUG, they're usually on the ground and drawing from the ankle isn't that difficult. I tried to find a dash cam video I saw a while back on tv of a cop getting into a scuffle with somebody and the BG got his gun. Luckily the cop got to his BUG and and put 3 .38s in his chest pretty quick. Couldn't find it online though.

Living in the Las Vegas valley, one is sometimes required (doctor appts, etc) to travel into the hell-hole, murder capital, crime infested, dirtbag area called North Las Vegas. On those "sometimes", I carry my EDC G26 IWB and a G19 in my vest holster along with several spare G19 mags.

Do it! Her opinion does not super cede your right to life either!

Lets see it! First I've heard of a derringer in a while!

Here ya go. I carry it crossdraw.
Have the 410/45LC barrel, plus, 9mm, & 22mag.
Granted, it's not much good for a long shot, but up close & personal, it will take a big bite out of someone's belly.

I sometimes use my Beretta Bobcat .25 as a BUG in a galco pocket holster. I've tried ankle holsters,, all kinds, don't like em.

You are correct. I was told she went to the parks and rec office to complain. They offered to switch he son to another team and advised her that she does not have any reason to complain as there are no policies prohibiting the protection of the children. He also asked her if she understood the concept of unpaid volunteer coach? Guess she left quite annoyed but left her child on my team because of the positive atmosphere on the team and the number one goal of doing your best and having fun. I have not quite figured out if she is stupid or just did not notice the fact my vehicle has a really cool light bar and Leo plate. Nothing better than doing some thing positive for young children. Not really sure who has more fun the kids or me its just nice to give time to a great bunch of kids.

I used to carry my Kahr CW9 in a Galco ankle holster as a BUG. Unfortunately I let my wife try the pistol and it's now her EDC. I'm going to have to buy another one.

I don't need to carry a gun... I pay Chuck Norris to follow me every where I go.

Hahaha!

Uh, anyway... I rarely carry a BUG but the when I do it's my Wife's Cobra .32acp Derringer. I've been thinking of getting the new NAA Sidewinder as a BUG, that little gun is so cool.
