Hornady Issues Recall on Certain 9mm Self Defense Ammunition

Hornady issued the following recall notice regarding a single lot of their 9mm 135gr +P Hornady Critical Duty Ammunition.

Product Warning and Recall Notice: 90226

Hornady Mfg Company is recalling one (1) lot of 9mm 135gr +P Hornady Critical Duty™ Ammunition, Item#90226. This lot was shipped between the dates of 6-5-14 and 7-16-14.

Item number 90226 LOT # 3141635

Hornady Mfg Company ballisticians have determined that some cartridges from Lot # 3141635 may exhibit light or no powder charges. Use of this product may result in firearm damage and or personal injury.

Thanks - it was close. I just happened to buy my 9 mm pistol and ordered hornaday CD ammo at about that time. Mine says #90235 and lot #3132031, so I guess it should be ok.
