Home intruders and homeowner shot during robbery

Two men ages 18 and 24 broke into a home intending to steal marijuana and were shot by the homeowner whom also suffered injuries although minor. The two punks drove themselves to the hospital and the 18 yr old died from his injuries. I wonder how the DA will handle this case since the homeowner was growing dope and the 2 punks were trying to rob him of it. How would you handle it?

First, let's back up a minute.

Why should YOU and I pay for the health care of a criminal who committed a crime? That's a contributing factor on why I pay $13,000.00 per year on my Blue Cross / Shield. If they are suspected of being shot because they were involved in a crime or gang banging, proof on insurance coverage should be mandatory even before an attempt is made to stop the bleeding.

No insurance... The only thing "free" should be a free ride to the medical examiners basement and wait until it's time for the big chill in the morgue cooler, or walk back to their "hood".

As far as the dope and home owner... Stupid people and druggies win stupid prizes. They don't call it "dope" without reason.

Am I cold-hearted and too tough on crime? If I had a "bippy" I'd bet my last one!

legalizing pot would cut alot of crime imo.......and could bring the economy back in less than a year
as far as medical bills they are way to expensive in the states........in peru it's 15 usd to pull a tooth; in the usa it's 250. usd without insurance......the drug war and the way our medical care is run is big scam on the public

Just about everything is a scam in this country since everything is handled via contracts and maritime / contract law.

You are an intruder and you enter my home, it is irrelevant at that time what I am doing in my home. If you forcibly enter my home you will die--period/end of story. That is the way we do things in SC. In the course of investigating the situation it is found that I am involved in illegal activities--that is a different "after the fact" situation, which should have nothing to do with the forcible entry into my home.

LOL.....I hadn't heard "Bippy" used for a long time. I would say "bet your sweet bippy" when I was like 6/7 and my parents would get mad and scold me. I remember that from Laugh In

And that's just the way this story turned out luckily
