Home defense Shotguns

In regards to my Winchester Defender. I practice, practice, practice. For me it is a comfortable gun to shoot, and is accurite. I do alot of camping, some of it is done in the mountains hence the OO shot and slugs, you know for some the those wild critters.

Camping in the woods in bear country and home defense are two completely different things. Slugs make sense for bears but don't when you are dealing with indoors and close range.

And that's the first time I've ever heard a pistol gripped shotgun referred to as 'accurate'.:sarcastic:

Mossy 500 TC cruiser with Hogue pistol grip. (I can't hit the broad side of a barn with the factory grip simply because it's just too painful to shoot! The Hogue grip actually makes it fun to shoot.)
00 buck all the way because of occasional bears in my area.

Mossberg 500 w/18 1/2" bbl and Hogue "Overmold" full stock plus "LimbEZ" recoil pad. #4 or #1 Buckshot. Keep it simple. I like the Hogue stock because it gives a positive grip if your hands are cold or wet.
