Home Defence

If money was not a factor what would stock your home with???

5 handguns (Glocks), 2 assault rifles and enough ammo to supply a small army. Also, enough food and water to last a long time.

I would have 2 12g pump shotguns 10 pistols varying calibers spread thru out the house . 4 assault rifles and a good bolt action .338 to reach out and touch someone if needed and stashes of ammo and mags ready to go

Couple tanks,M4 for everyone. 2 pistols per person. Plenty of Mags ,ammo ,water food ect... Knives couple choppers and another tank

What am I defending against?

The possibility of everyday crime? Got it covered with a couple of pistols, a revolver, a shot gun, a good strong flash light, hearing protection and of course all loaded and ready to go with additional magazines for each pistol and a couple of speed loaders for the revolvers.

The end of civilization? Don't think I have enough food and water put up. We currently only stock about a weeks worth for hurricane season. If civilization crashes, we'll need to sustain not just stock up.

If it's zombies, I'm not worried. With my luck, my wife will be one of the first to go over to the dark side and she'll eat my brain when I'm sleeping. :crazy_pilot:

I plan on feeding some hungry folks rather than kill them, as long as they come peaceful. But me and the boys have what we need if they ain't peaceful. All that stuff ain't agonna stop the UN Army if non of ya come to help. They will just pick us off one by one. Time to make some wise decisions come November.

But if it is a herd of zombies coming after us, we'll just crawl up in the cab of that diesel corn chopper and start down the trail leaving a bloody trail of gore.

Hey Grandpa.... if your taking in strays, me and the missus may need a place to retreat to! I'm handy mechanically and the missus can cook up a storm with not a whole lot. You're dead on about November! High time people learned that that single vote really DOES count!

4 Dillon Aero gatling guns with enough ammo to fill a 200,000 sq ft warehouse . 1 for the 4 corners of the house

2, 20mm Gatling guns ( the ones they mount on the A-10's) with depleted uranium rounds

Radar/thermal guided Missile launching pods.

And enough small arms mixed between the chey tac m200, Barrett M82A1, select fire M4's, tactical 12ga and as many Glocks and 1911's as I can carry...

Ammo: call me crazy, but I'll take as much as I can get my hands on.

I wonder if the bank would approve that construction loan?

If money was not a factor, I would buy a house on an island. Buy and staff an aircraft carrier, a nuclear submarine, a couple Navy SEALS, a few helicopters with lots of rockets, probably get a Gatling gun or two, some anti-aircraft weaponry, surface to air missiles, surface to surface missiles, and air to air missiles. A few nuclear weapons with long range capability. A few hundred thousand rounds of various types of ammo. A few hundred thousand weapons for my own military of 500,000. And a Mossberg 500 in my bedroom and a few Glocks of course for me.

That's just the start.

(And I draw your attention to the correct spelling of the word "defense")

You must have a plan to go with your supply list. My plan, in case of a home invasion, is to throw the kid and cats into my bedroom, then take up defensive position in my teenage daughter's room at the top of the stairs, where I will be camoflaged against all the clothes on the floor, and I can surprise at anyone on the stair landing. This protects most my household goods from blood spatter, and puts a good backdrop in case bullets go through the assailants and through the wall, as there is a good distance of openspace and a hill in the backyard, therefore not accidently harming any neighbors. Gotta think these things through, so you can keep a clear head in times of crisis.

I've come to the conclusion either we like toys or we are some of the most paranoid people around!

Home defense gatling guns, 20mm chain guns, Abrams tanks? People! Really?

Why not just a fully equipped Cobra sitting on the roof top helipad? Hey! Wait a minute! That's a good one. Yeah! A fully equipped Cobra sitting on my roof top helipad ready to go at the first inkling that there may be a burglar outside the window. There may not be anything left of the house when I'm done but by George I've got my Cobra and the bad guy would be on the run! :crazy_pilot: :sarcastic:
