Ok my gun lovin nuts I'm looking for a good open carry holster for my Kahr p40 been searching the web looking but would like some input from y'all

1. Leather or kydex?
2. What firearm? (durr OP stated khar P40...sorry)
3. What level of retention?
4. Thumb, finger, or friction release?
5. OWB/IWB/shoulder/appendix/other? (thanks PA)
6. Do you have a nice belt yet?
7. Where do you plan on positioning it?

Ok so I just watched a video on YouTube of a guy breaking a kydex holster off a guys hip in less than a second so I guess I better make it leather
