HK USP Mag Question

Ok fellow HK fans, I have a question.

Would a magazine for a HK USP .40 (full sized) fit in a HK USP .40 Compact?

I know that it would probably stick out a little on the end and thats ok, but would it work?

It will fit but it does stick out and look dumb.
