I am looking for some other females to go to the range with. I have my CCW but no gun yet. Haven't decided what I want yet, I have tried a few. I would love to get into some kind of woman's chapter or group. Nice meeting everyone

Check the NRA Women on Target programs. There should be local stuff coming up this summer.

There is another organization that does the whole outdoor experience (Bow, gun, fishing, cooking, camping) for folks, but I do not know the name of it. Members???

Try church, too. Probably lots of folks there willing to share, plus they know you in another environment. I convinced a few of my co-workers (female nurses) to go to the range and learn about safety and the pleasure of shooting. Good luck and keep trying.

Outdoor Basecamp is a good site for the whole outdoor thing. A lot of the regular posters are ladies who shoot (and some who don't)

You could check A Girl and a Gun Women's Shooting League to see if they have a chapter near you. Or if not maybe try to start one.

I have looked at their site for a chapter that is close to me but the closest one is in Saginaw which is about an hour away from me.
