Hi Power Help Please

God Bless Our Troops!!!
Please let me know about Charles Daly HP pistols.
Accuracy, reliability, Carry-ability ETC...

I may be acquiring one in the very near future.

I know it is a Single action like the 1911 and is designed to be carried cocked and locked.

Does it really fit most 1911 holsters?

How do they feed with jacketed hollow points?

Some people tend to look down on them because they are not “Browning”, but I have no complaints. Every bit as reliable, and accurate as my Browning. I can get the same 2: group at 10 yards, standing off hand, regardless of which one I am shooting. It is a bit “rougher” than the browning in regards to fit and finish, but nothing that effects function.

They have the XS Big Dot sights and some do not like them. Personally, I have no problems with them, but I must say that I do prefer regular 3 dot sights. My understanding, however, is that these XS Big Dot sights do not use a standard dove tail cut out o changing sights is an issue. Personally, I have not looked into changing the sights so I cannot verify that.

As for ammo… I have not had any problems with either Winchester or Speer Gold Dot, but I have only used 115gn.

All in all, I am quite happy with it and carry it much more than the Browning.
