a warning to all my gun loving brotheren who live in Charleston, your mayor Joseph Riley is a member of nanny mike's organization (MAIG). he will take every opportunity to screw every law abiding gun owner in Charleston over huge. so when he comes up for re-election vote against him. oust him from office.:nhl_checking::crazy_pilot::warning2:

Unfortunately the actual city of Charleston is a majority of liberals. Maybe not heavily so, but enough that people like him get elected. Once you go outside it's borders into neighboring communities, it begins to shift dramatically.

Supposedly, this is Riley's last term--at least that is what he says. Then again you know when a liberal is lying--their mouth is moving. When he first started out many decisions he made were very good for Charleston but like all these "lifers", they begin to believe in their destiny and become narcissists with psychotic disorders--they actually believe they are the only ones who know what is right---no wonder he and the "dumbo in DC" are friends--with the dumbo, however, he was a narcissist from day 1 and allowed an ignorant and stupid populace to elect him and reelect him without an ounce of integrity or competence and so we deserve what we got--an asylum, formerly known as the USA, and run by its inmates.

My wife and I are clear standouts when we take our kids to the Mt. Pleasant dock park, under the bridge... We drive a 4x4 pickup that's 13 years old, not clean and has an Oath Keeper, OEF Veteran, Rebel Flag Palmetto Tree and "Don't Tread on Me" stickers on the back window. We are so under-dressed for that sophisticated, metropolitan and wealthy crowd... I'm sure we look like a bunch of hobos who wandered into the park. We get a kick out of watching these (likely) Liberals "dress up" to take their kids to play, we enjoy watching how they care so much about what everyone else there thinks of them. Downtown is like a little, Liberal bubble surrounded by poor, country people. If the view wasn't so nice, the breeze off the water so relaxing and the history of the harbor not present... we'd never venture down there.

Doesn't matter if it's his last term or not. The city government is run mostly by liberals and anyone replacing him will most likely be no different. A couple years ago, a guy wanted to convert his warehouse (in a semi-industrial part of downtown) into an indoor range. The city delayed his paperwork so that the mayor and town council could jam through a law to make it illegal. That's right. There was no ordinances to prevent him from doing it, so they quickly passed some.

Ever pick up a City Paper? It's a liberal's wet dream. I use it for when my blood pressure is too low, or I run out of toilet paper.

I'd rather keep all the liberals and RINOs centralized in one location.
Charleston is a liberal/RINO strong hold like anti Open Carry Sen. Paul Thurmond (R – Charleston)

Get all the liberals and RINOs out of office for the rest of South Carolina first, State (Larry Martin) as well as Federal (Lindsey Graham)

Thurmond has since not replied to my email informing him I will do everything I can to prevent his re-election if he didn't support S. 115... figures.

1. It makes very little difference what the liberals think in Charleston. All that counts is a governor who received a firearm from her husband ans will sign any gun bill that favors 2A. I happen to live in Mt. Pleasant and sometimes carry in Charleston--I follow the law and if I am in imminent danger, I will defend myself--pure and simple. Better yet is the fact that the solicitor, who also happens to be a woman, understands what the law is in SC, regardless of what Mayor Dumbo thinks.
2. You belittle yourself a bit when you talk about walking around as if you do not belong to the "pretty people" in the area. You bump into me you will bump into a guy in a tee shirt and athletic pants on and probably CC and you will belong there.

Was point 2. a generic statement or directed at me? I ever made any comments along those lines. I was only talking about how the city (the actual city) is run by a pile of liberals that keep getting elected by the liberals. I don't mind being around pretty people... as long as they don't try to tread on me.

the governor matters more. i just received a letter from the governor thanking me for supporting her efforts on s308 and trying to get s115 passed. it is nice to see that my efforts are well appreciated.

Ya gotta be active in the mire to ensure your voice is heard. Keep up the good work! Attend as many meetings and gatherings as possible to ensure your local, county and state Reps know not just your face but name as well. YOU can make a difference.

Sorry to go off topic and forgive my ignorance, what are athletic pants? Is that a PC name for sweat pants?
If they are sweats or something like them, how do you IWB CC or are you fanny pack"ing"?
