Where is that dope on this forum that said he would rather have a retired cop engaged in a deadly firearm situation than a civilian dirt bag because the cop is "well trained". My God...if this is what you get from a well trained cop what do you get from a "not so well trained cop"? I know...I know...he will shoot the family dog, not just the kids!

That is sad. The officer, for whatever reason, made a really bad call there.

And she might even lose her job over it. If she gets more than desk duty for a week, maybe a month, I'll be amazed. The union probably has some provision for this kind of thing. Like maybe she had PMS or something. It's excusable under such debilitating circumstances, right? Link Removed

Highly trained cops?

Here's an interesting event that happened near were I live.

Bryant man identified as victim of officer involved shooting - KATV - Breaking News, Weather and Razorback Sports

My younger brother has a painting business and one of his workers actually witnessed the event.

30-year-old Carleton J. Wallace of Bryant, who lives near my brother had the mental capacity of a 9 or 10 year old and his "weapon" was an airsoft pistol that he carried when he walked on the railroad tracks near his home. These are the same tracks that were made famous by the "Boys on the Tracks" that people "claimed" where killed by Clinton as part of the Mena Airport drug running.

Anyway, Wallace was well known by the ALL the LEOs in the area, including Cumming, and they all knew he was totally harmless.

Cummings teenage daughter was in the patrol car at the time and she told ASP investigators that her mom had said that she would show her how you arrest a BG.

Another interesting tidbit is Cummings is white, her boyfriend is the Chief of Police in Alexander, where Cummings works as a city cop, and the COP is black.

Another interesting tidbit is the fact that Cummings had never been to the police academy and had ZERO experience and/or training as a LEO.

The gun Cummings used was a Glock 22 w/ Remington 180gr Golden Sabre and according to my brother's employee, Josh, that witnessed the event that Wallace was shot in the back the the bullet exited out of his chest.
