i have a question if u can buy a handgun and pass the back ground check at gun dealer then will u be able to get conceal carry without any problems this is in mississippi

to twt... google is your friend!! A simple search for "Mississippi firearms laws" produced this resource...

and there are other resources you can look into.

I don't mind helping people out but in this day and age of simple internet searches I cannot fathom why folks don't just search for this stuff themselves. Not upset with you twt... I just don't understand why, if it's so easy for me to search, others can't do it too?

If you have nothing in your past that is questionable, than why would you even be asking this question? Many states do background checks above and beyond the NICS check required to purchase a handgun from a dealer and will show disqualifying factors for a CCW permit that won't show up in NICS.

And why are you asking this in the OPEN carry forum?
