Hi! I'm in East NC too. Charlotte to be exact. Not a gun owner, though I am thinking about getting lessons and a permit. Charlotte (especially the University area-- where I live) has become quite dangerous.

I just came across this blog and I don't know whether to stay and get a gun or just move.
