Hello,
I'm a newbie here from Chicago. I'm a firearms instructor with the Chicago PD assigned to the Academy. I also teach CC classes as well.
Just saying hello.

Welcome to the forum! Perhaps you can share with us the Chicago Police attitude towards CC. The Chief and the Mayor has said many things that does not give us that warm fuzzy feeling!

Welcome! Teaching CC classes is a noble endeavor, as is your training Chicago PD.

I, too, am curious about the political atmosphere, now that your state has joined the rest of we CHCL states?

Specifically, the attitude of the Chief and his subordinates would be especially helpful to us.

Perhaps we could help change preconceived, baseless notions at that level of law enforcement?
