Having trouble with glock 19 mag

I recently encountered a problem with one of my glock 19 mags that ive never run into before. First off my glock 19 is my truck/camping gun and its gotten plenty of use. Id estimate that ive put probably 2500-4000 rounds through it in the past three years. I always keep 6 clips loaded with corbon dpx hollow points and up until last week all the mags worked great. By great i mean they all slid into and fell out of the frame with no resistance but they didnt have any play in the frame. Now to my problem, one of the clips now has severe resistance while being seated in the frame and i need to "rip" it out of the frame to remove it and it needs a firm slap by my palm to correctly seat the mag. It feeds all ammo fine and i dont see any signs of wear on the mag or inside the frame so i dont know what is causing this problem. Any ideas? I already took the mag out of circulation. Is it worth trying to fix or should i just toss it? My best friend wants the mag for his glock but i dont want to give him a mag that might let him down if he ever needed it.

Greetings from Utah. Just a note to help you from getting flamed in the future. Lots of folks in here get kinda irate when they hear a magazine misnamed a clip, lol, we all have our hot buttons. As to your mag problem it is almost as expensive to get it looked at by a gun smith as it would be to replace it. Just make sure you are using factory magazines. The only time my glocks have ever given me a hiccup was when I picked up an off brand magazine. I trashed it. As to your problem I'd be worried that the mag was doing damage to the inside of my weapon. Clearly it is catching on something. PS if you have a friend who is a gunny you may be able to get it fixed free or very cheaply but I'd just chuck it.

Love my glock 19, sweet weapon.

Ya i ended up just trashing it. Still puzzled however because it was a factory mag. I love my glocks. Theyre second only to my 1911. I find the 1911 to be alot more comfortable for me. But i have to give props to glock for building such a great firearm at such a reasonable price.

I no longer have the mag to take a pic.( its at the bottom of a trash can filled with dirty diapers) but i can assure you there was no visual signs of any wear. Maybe my glock just didnt like that particular mag? Whatever the problem was hopefully it wont be an issue again. Being only 24 with a 5 week old son has most of my funds tied up and i dont think i could afford the $80 per hour to have someone look at it.
