Just trying to let people become aware of a new trend thats going on. My father in law told me that he was reading some shooting magazine and the new trend of theft is the bump and rob. It is when a person rear ends your car and you proceed thinking it was just an accident. As soon as you bend over to check the damage of your car your eyes have become turned away from the person and they crack you on the head or pull a gun/knife on you. So new trend guys just become aware and never take your eyes off the person and try to proceed to a well lit area and wait for the cops. "Carry safety and carry often guys"

That's been going on for a long time and in probably most states. Always best to be aware of your surroundings and call the police before you even get out of your vehicle. I personally like to watch my mirrors at red lights and leave some space behind the car in front of us.

also the scam where they put a flyer or paper on your rear window you have your car started then notice the paper you get out to get it while someone is ready to steal your running vehicle
be aware of surroundings as much as you can especially when alone no doubt

Ya. I always have been aware of my surrounding. But defiantly stepped up my game now that I carry. The girl feels better knowing I'm watching out because she's oblivious

It applies to everywhere, even the phone.
We've had people call into our call center claiming that the agent's computer was infected. It's BS directed at infecting a computer on the inside of our network. Of course the agent called them on their BS. The caller hung up, but they called back in. After 5 different agents, they finally gave up. Agent #1 gave the entire floor a heads up on what was happening. Communication is important and situational awareness has no bounds.

Be vigilant, understand when dropping your guard means accepting risk.
