Have you ever been "made"while cc' ing?

Really, there's no way to know I have never been approached by anyone who indicated that they thought I might be carryng a firearm.

I did have one guy give me the stink eye for open carryng a looooooong (like in the the last millienum) time ago but he never said anything.

I will say that unless the person approaching me identified themselves as a police officer and produced credentials to prove it I would likely go very much on the defensive

Yeah I was showing some vacant houses to a couple of investors in a really bad part of town. There was no lock box on the door and the door had been screwed shut with some 4" drywall screws. As I raised up my arm with the screw gun to get the top screw, my jacket rode up clearly exposing my Glock 19 in a Fobus paddle holster. One of the investors said "geez is it legal for you to carry?" . I assured him it was and proceeded to show them the vacant house with gang graffiti and drug paraphinalia in every room. They let me lead the way as they looked at the house. Selling real estate in some sketchy areas is the main reason I started carrying every day once again.

I open carry most of the time. So, when CCing, I do my best to conceal depending on the situation. I've never been made even with my G22 in serpa holster. People just don't care or notice.

When I'm concealing, concealed means concealed, to my knowledge no I have not.

When I conceal with no intention of keeping it concealed...I don't really care...

When I open carry...most people still don't make me...publics situational awareness fail...not my problem.

I've never been "made". In my state you have to CC or else risk a breech of peace charge. I have, however, noticed a fellow CCer had his shirt above the grip of his 1911. In a discrete area I pointed and said your shirt. He thanked me and we went on our day.

Most concealed carriers worry way too much. Nobody pays attention to you in public. Most people are absorbed in their own world and could care less what is going on around them.

I often carry in my gym shorts, you can practically see the gun and yet nobody pays attention. If they did see it, congratulations, I dont care. And no, I will not give them a cookie.

I haven't been "Made" that I am aware of, I have however noticed one guy who was printing.... Bottom line is this, there are waaaaaay more folks out there who are carrying then you think. Chances are good that most of us come across other CCW more often then we think.

I want a cookie......

In Delaware we are an open carry state. I have a CCW permit and carry all day everyday. I've never been "made", but one needs to be aware of the places it is legal to carry, and where it isn't. There are both federal, state and local laws involved. Part of the responsibility of carrying is to know those laws, and follow them.

I did have a young lady look down at me and state "WOW....are you happy to see me or is that a concealed weapon down there".

In this state, OC is legal. I really don't give a rats backside if it's noticed or not. AND yes, I was happy to see her AND I had a concealed weapon. Although strapped to my 3:00 "o"clock waist side I really wasn't sure what weapon she was talking about.:sarcastic:

so, when I first started cc'ng, I was paranoid I'd be "outed". never happened. Then it occured to me that I wasn't even looking to see if anyone else was carrying. So, I started looking, and so far, haven't been able to positively ID anyone else carrying. Too funny.

i was at home on my computer the other day leaning forward on the chair to read the screen when my son and his girlfriend came by they saw it i heard her whisper something to my son and looked up and my son was looking at my gun with a 'maum' look on his face..... so i looked and my shirt was not pulled down over it so i just looked back and said it's my house and my life and i'm going to protect it if need be but i did pull my shirt down to cover it as i said it........and to make sure it's readily available should i need it ....he gave me another one those 'maum' looks...and didn't say any more lolz
i clocked a guy in a bar the other day carrying so i engaged a conversation with him just to see who he was and what he was up to.... he seemed ok but dang so not following the laws.....carrying in a bar sitting in a bar drinking well enough to be drunken...not that there is anything wrong with it imo but clearly breaking the laws of our state....i stayed sober didn't order any alcohol and still had a fun time......and yes i did leave my gun at home but i still carried a pocket knife being i never been to that bar before and just went to meet up with a friend...
i have also been made by friends just giving me a friendly hug accidently felt it and respectfully and quickly moved their hand once realizing ....and now they know to hug me higher up lolz but i'm sure i print at times in public but no one ever questioned or confronted me about it or gave me a hard time about it
