Handgun Trading

I have a Ruger LC9 I bought in anticipation of getting my CHL. While I still plan on doing so, the thought of having a solid home defense handgun become more meaningful. 7 rounds to reload isn't something I'd prefer if home defense was required. My question to anyone with knowledge on the topic is: what would be a realistic trade option?

I carried a 7+1 1911 for 38 years. I never felt under gunned.

Ruger P89 or P95 are good solid reliable guns with mags available from 10rd to 30 rd at right around the same price point as the LC9. I carried a 89 for years until I got old enough it was just too heavy and bulky so I went over to the Glock side...

While many will denigrate the brand, I have also found the Taurus PT92 to be a quality defense weapon that's only drawback (like the Rugers) is being too bulky for comfortable CC.
