Better not check the nose art of WW II aircraft. Memphis Belle, Heavenly Body, Vessatile Lady, Full Boost, I could go on, but I won't.

I don't remember what WW II General said it, but he said. "The boys have got to know what they're fighting for..."
 
Thanks to the geniuses in DOD and the various services, the military is disintegrating. It is politically correct in this day and age to think having all units co-ed is a great thing without any problems but that is pure hogwash. When you mix men and women together, in combat units in particular, you are waiting for a disaster to happen. There is potential there for problems and you can not overcome them by issuing directives to try to forestall eventual charges of rape or other sexual offenses. Females can play an important part in the military and have for years but being quartered with men and in combat units will not work. They are more of a liability in combat units than assets. But, what the hell, wait until women are captured on the battlefield and mistreated like men have been. That will bring a national outcry and then realigning to regular male/female roles. Then there will be no complaints about having pinups.

Here is the answer.
I have a letter from Gen. Powell to then Representative Patricia Schroeder dated 8 May 1992. Paraphrasing his response to her he states being African American and homosexual are not parallels of being discriminated against and that the service is no place for a social experiment.
I also have a copy of the 103rd Congressional record dated February 04, 1993. John McCain has a few things to say concerning homosexuals serving openly in the service. His issue is the folks in the service give up a lot, live in close quarters and have little privacy and should not be forced to serve with open same sex attracted service members.
I do not run around and force my views on anyone. I do not share the intimate details of my private life. If a person has a different view of how to live, their life that is their business just do not force their life style on me, mine or others. Why must I need to know that the guy next to me in the shower wants my “Package”?
I do not want “Bedroom” police nor do I want to force my beliefs on others.
We have a sick decaying decadent society that wants to take us down.
A great religion, Islam, the Nobel Quran and My great religion, Christianity all have a Holy Book and in each one abomination are condemned. 5,000 years of man and women is a testament to the natural order. Yes, I have greatly researched these books both in Hebrew, Greek and the English translation of the Quran. No, ifs and or buts about it. It ain’t Kosher.
We wanted G_d out of our schools, military and country, he was very happy to leave, but He shall come back.
Abominations, baby killing, societal norms fading, morals that are whatever feels good. Just keeps on getting better and better doesn’t it?

I'd like to volunteer to take a look at all those female images in order to determine their level of sexual inappropriateness. :biggrin:

The same dipsquats that are now saying Mothers Day is sexist and it should be called Parent "A" day. Fathers day , of course, will be changed to sperm donor day.
 
Leave it to the "women" (feminists) to try and ruin everything and anything for men. The majority of the women I have heard bitching about equal roles for men in the military couldn't tell me who Susan B. Anthony was. They don't know how to cook, clean, do laundry, yard work (all task that men and women share) and insist that they're independent. In college, we got into a debate about women's roles in the military, so I showed them actual footage of combat, not like the **** you see in movies and all they had to say was..."so." Or "cool." One threw up when she saw the end result of a foot chase and yet she insisted that she could do anything that men could. Most of the class, besides a few guys who served and one stubborn feminist who couldn't look up left. They insist that what we relive every second of every day wouldn't break them.

I'm not saying that all women couldn't do it, there are a select few that can. What I'm saying is, this is going against nature. Men are biologically and physiologically different from women for these reasons. We were made to serve a different purpose. The greatest talent of men is taking life, whether it be in combat, hunting or accidentally in a fistfight.

The coed experiment failed in Russia, and it will fail here as well.

Susan B. I know who she is, she invented the coin with her name on it that no one would spend. Thanks to a great Democrat, Carter. Only good thing about Carter was Reagan. I want a kinder gentler military, I want USMC to change to pink and white I want the Navy to have a bond moment before ship n out. We can send Candy Grams to the bad folks and beg them not to invade us.
 
You must keep in mind liberal ideology. The reason women in combat units hasn't worked before is because the wrong people were in control. We now have the right people so it will work this time. :sarcastic: Oh, and don't forget we need to spend a butt load of money. :pleasantry:
 
Is is all per the ObummerNator, he wants a mild form of force. I think with this new way of thinking the prisons should be co-ed. For the inmates who want it that way. If DOMA is over turned will inmates be able to marry each other and set up house keeping? Oh, every single show on the t.v. has a strong women leading them and helping the poor old male. But the Obummenator was raised by women was he not? A military with no pinups, no beer, no smoking, no cussing, no touching....is a dysfunctional military.

Not anything like my days in the Air Force. I would be hard pressed to recommend the service as a career choice any more.

This. If somebody wants to look something up, that would be blocked or otherwise set off warning signs to Comm... they use their smart phones. Who they hell still puts up posters of beautiful women at work?
