Can anyone recommend a gunsmith in central Maine (Waterville/Augusta area)?
My father gave me an Arisaka Type 99 7.7mm x 58 that his dad brought back from overseas. It's sporterized so I imagine he did a bit of hunting with it when he returned, but otherwise, I'd assume it probably hasn't been fired in 30+ years. It's a series 0 so very early war, there's no rust/dust/buildup and action is still smooth, but I'd still like someone to take a peek at it.
An ounce of prevention instead of a pound of cure and all that.
Thanks in advance!
