The headline is incorrect. Read the article, the gunman killed one, his former boss-the police killed him and wounded the others. Don't let the police or media off the hook blaming the bad guy for all the killing/injuries.
Anyone who is around firearms knows one must be aware of your surroundings and are responsible for the damage caused from an errant shot, be that a broken window or broken limb or life taken. True, the gunman caused the rukus and was the reason the police fired, but the police must qualify/demonstrate their skill periodically, so they should be held to a higher standard than the criminal. Best believe if it were their loved ones in the background they would be very careful of their shots!
